Bid Manager BidManager is a custom database developed in MS Access 2000. The application selects bidders based on project requirements and then sends out pricing requests through email and computer generated broadcast faxes. Once the project is defined, one staff member can send out hundreds or thousands of pricing requests in about ten minutes. BidManager is a client/server-based application allowing multiple users to work concurrently. BidManager also contains tools and reports to track who is bidding and what their prices are. It provides the ability to send follow-up communications to bidders or select groups. Bidder selection/capabilities criteria are multi-layered and very customizable. Programming changes may be made as needed.
